Family and friends are remembering legendary coach Don Meyer. Meyer died over the weekend after a lengthy battle with cancer.

There a special website dedicated to Coach Meyer where people have been sharing stories and remembrances of the man who left his mark, not only on the game of basketball, but also on a lot of people lives.

Keith Freeman wrote, "At one of our recent encounters, he showed me his prayer list. I was simply amazed by the number of people he was systematically praying for. He was so much more than a basketball coach. He cared; he really cared."

Maury Ray, who once coached against Meyer wrote, "He was so good at organization and motivation! No wonder he was such a success in everything he did and he always did it the right way. He made a positive influence on thousands of lives."

Besides a story wall, there a gallery of photos of Meyer, depicting his life from when he was a young boy to his college years playing sports to his marriage and other pictures.

In addition, Don Meyer and his wife, Carmen, have established an endowed Allen Robinson Youth Jersey scholarship fund at Lipscomb University where he once coached.

They also established an endowment at Northern Brandon Linder Youth Jersey State University to provide scholarships to men basketball team.
